Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine

I just completed delivering the Healthy Communication Workshop (previously known as Psyc 604) at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.    I hope you don’t mind if I share my delight by sharing some of the feedback I’ve received.  I intend this to set a good example for my students regarding one of the points in the program.  And you know something?  It’s great to click with great people.

Good Evening Dr. Kirschner,   I would simply like to express my gratitude. I truly appreciate the workshop you presented to my class and myself. I’m actually inspired, and it has been a while since I’ve found that from any sort of lecture or presentation. Your messages were strong, and resonate with me, because not only are they the common sense that I’ve heard throughout my life –you didn’t just tell us what, you explained to us how. You really clicked with me. I learned how to open myself up in a way I’d always been reluctant to do.  I sincerely thank you.

You gave us so much insight and positivism.  Your class increased my awarness of how biased our vocabulary is. I enjoyed your energy, high motivation and I will never forget. Thank you so much!!!!!

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the really informative seminar you gave us the past 2 days. I hope I can continue to practice using the skills you have taught us and become more proficient in initiating change!

I wanted to speak of the 2 day workshop we completed.  You have all reiterated many times that we will change as we go through this program.  The first morning of the workshop I realized I wasn’t open minded about it due to my own blocks. So I set the intention of opening my mind and heart.

I am happy I was able to do this because within 1 hour Dr. Kirschner was able to help me with something I had been actively struggling with for over 10 years.   In one hour I was able to realize my role during the 10 years of agony.

This is not the only healing I had during this workshop and I am sure more will come.  So I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for scheduling this workshop.  I am always grateful when someone gives me tools so I can do work on myself. I have been here for less than a week and have already been able to make valuable advancement in my life and I am sure this will all lead me to becoming a better ND and person.

And that’s it for this bonus post. And message to all my students:  I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to do the two day workshop with you.  You are good people, great students, and great things will come from you.

Comments and feedback are welcome. .
Be well,
